Katie’s Summer
Katie’s story gives us information, emotion and uncertainty. Good safeguarding reasoning separates what is observed from what is inferred.
Katie returns from a summer trip with photos and videos for her school project. When one image appears, she becomes visibly distressed. Later, she begins to explain why. The story gives clues in stages rather than all at once.
Your task is to notice carefully without turning travel, culture or family background into proof.
